If you were the primary contact or a secondary contact of a company before the new portal’s launch, or if you just became a company’s contact, a connection link has been sent to you by email. It will allow you to create a user account and to link it to the company for which you are a primary or secondary contact or to all companies for which you have this responsibility.

If you have not received this link, after verifying your spam mailbox, please contact our Company Services Department by phone at 1-877-987-1491 or by email at
service@eeq.ca so you can receive a new one.

To create a new user account with this link, please follow the steps listed below.

  1. Click on the link that you find in the email.
  2. You will be then redirected to the link’s activation page. You will then have to click on “Register”.
    Attention : Do not tick the “I already have a user account” box if this is your first time logging into the new portal, even if you used to have an account in the old reporting portal.

  3. Your connection link will be saved and you will be invited to create a user account. Click on “Create an account”.

     
  4. You will be redirected to the Sign in page. We invite you to click on “Sign up now”.

     
  5. You will have to type the email address that you wish to use to create your account and then click on “Send verification code”. 
    Attention : Each email address can only be used by a single user account. Therefore, we recommend not using shared email addresses.

     
  6. You will receive a verification code by email that you must enter in the “Verification code” box. Then, you need to click on “Verify code”.

     
  7. Once the code verified, you may create your password, confirm it, and click on “Create”.

     
  8. After creating your user account, you will be redirected to your profile where you must update your contact information and choose secret questions and answers. Once the update effective, please indicate if you wish to receive newsletters from ÉEQ and click on “Update”.

     
  9. Your user account has now been created. You can access company files under the “Account(s)” tab.
